My name is James Hogan, but my friends call me Hogie. For me, songwriting isn't just a craft; it's been my own personal therapy. Over the years, I've written more than 140 songs, each one capturing a moment, a memory, or a feeling. It's been my way of navigating life's challenges and turning them into something meaningful.

I'm a Maritimer who found a new life here in Calgary. For a while, I was just finding my way, but the birth of my children changed everything. They became my reason to build a better life and fully embrace my truest passion: turning stories into music.
